X2 Xelos is a purpose-built collapsible quadcopter UAS platform designed specifically for swarm operations.
The platform has up to 45 minutes of flight time and 20 KIAS, and utilizes SLAM-based navigation and collision avoidance system.
A variety of imaging sensors, such as AO stereo cameras and thermal imagers are available for the platform. Other payloads include fire suppression canisters, demining charges, fragmentation and concussion ordnance, etc.
X2 Xelos fits into a 300 mm (L) x 400 mm (W) x 300 mm (H) container and is deployed in 60 seconds per unit. The container includes charging and field programming units to allow for easy swarm pre-flight operations. X2 Xelos features the same flight controller and visual processing as H1 and allows integration with other platforms and third-party equipment, including radars, acoustic sensors, C2 systems, etc.
A purpose-configured swarm of X2 Xelos UAS platform can feature units with different payloads to execute complex missions, such as brush fire detection with subsequent suppression under difficult weather and terrain conditions, or autonomous demining operations.
